“The kids had an old-fashioned childhood. Climbing trees, hiking in the woods” says owner, Lauren Holtzman, of her vintage, 1920’s Sears kit house in Oella MD. Lauren raised her five children in the hillside 4-square way back when Timber Point was not yet a town home community, but a farm enjoyed by all. Steeped in community history, she is pretty confident the home was built by Charles Reedy of Reedy electric, a homegrown family and well-known local family business from Ellicott City’s Main Street. Lauren and her husband restored their home; trying to keep the original charm including adding a modern 1930’s farm kitchen. “It has a warm comfortable feeling new houses just don’t have,” continued Lauren. “The first time I came into the house I loved it.”

Your best life begins with a home that inspires you.
